We're starting with the JAM stack. We still don't know if it's the right approach but it seems promising and we want to explore where this road will take us.

Why The JAM Stack?

  1. It's Github friendly. Which makes it easy to fork and start.
  2. The technology is not locked like Magento, Shopify and the rest. You can do more plumbing with the JAM stack.
  3. JAM stack is minimizes the security risks.

The Future Stack

The current stack is good for a single online store. Our challenge is to build a marketplace. The list of desired features:

  1. Multiple store url: *storename*.myjam.store where each store pulls the related products from Airtable with the related prices.
  2. Multiple language.
  3. Main store: this is myjam.store. It should store should display all products with default prices.
